Review of Strip That Fat Program

Review of Strip That Fat Program

Strip That Fat is a solid weight loss program. The stated goal of the program is to lose 14 pounds in 14 days. Now I am not a general fan of programs that are mostly diet oriented that state that they are going to enable you to lose 1 pound per day. In order to achieve something along this level you would definitely need to be exercising.

To its credit Strip That Fat acknowledges that you need to workout and it guides you in the direction of building muscles. However, this is not the main thrust of the program.

The huge plus about the Strip That Fat Diet System is that it is a diet generator. Now I don’t know about you but my biggest problem with going on a diet has always been what they ask me to eat. Look, I am not a big cottage cheese fan or a fan of so many other things that they want you to eat. This is what I love about Strip That Fat. They have a huge online database that generates healthy meals for you (After all, one of our big problems is that we don’t eat very healthy).

The database is very simple to use. All you have to do is choose foods from each of the 5 meal categories and the program will create a 14 day menu for you. It will also create a handy dandy grocery list of the food that you can take with you to the grocery store.

Now, obviously, no diet is meant to be continued for only 14 days. At the end of the 14 days you create another diet plan. The nice part about Strip That Fat is that is has saved you previous menus and you can kind of determine what has worked for you and what hasn’t or what meal that you didn’t care too much for.

Strip That Fat is a diet program that you can stay on for life. As with all diets you need to be patient and not expect the world. If you stick to the diet you will lose weight. But in order to lose the weight that they say you will you will most likely have to combine it with a stronger exercise program.

Overall, I highly recommend the Strip That Fat diet program. The flexibility that it provides is fantastic. There is a 60 day money back guarantee so you can’t go wrong with it. The cost is only either $47 or $57 (two program levels) which is quite affordable. When you consider the stupid things that we spend money on then $50 or so to buy something that can help us achieve a lifetime of health is a no-brainer.

I would still recommend that you package it together with a program like Turbulence Training for the exercise side of it. I hope this was helpful. Good luck in your pursuit to Burn Calories and Lose Weight.

Stop Dry Skin now and look younger!

Stop Dry Skin now and look younger!

Stop Dry Skin now and look younger!

If you have a dry skin problem and not too keen on having it look like a withered apple, then your only way out is to jump headlong into a dry skin care regimen. The dry skin is basically a dehydrated skin, very sensitive to the weather elements. So the dry skin care regimen is all about nourishing the skin and keeping it protected from external ravages.

Dry skin care involves getting to the roots of the problem. Apart from the intrinsically dry skin type, dryness can also be the result of taking drugs like diuretics, antispasmodics, and antihistamines. Dry skin can also result from medical conditions like hypothyroidism, dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, seborrhea and diabetes. Excessive exposure to harsh weather elements like snow, sun and winds and the use of chemicals on the skin, Vitamin A and B deficiencies can lead to dryness too.

The essentially dry skin has a very dull look about it especially around the mouth and the eyes and it feels taut and uncomfortable right after washing. Chapping and cracking are its severest symptoms.

Dry skin care primarily involves nourishing it with baby oil, gentle moisturizing creams and preferably, a non-detergent based, neutral-pH product to clean it. Dry skin needs an out-and-out cleaning but not with a commercial soap. After washing, always use a moisturizer to keep the skin looking and feeling soft and supple. It's good if you apply the moisturizer when skin is damp.

You can also use oil for hydrating your dry skin, however while massaging, take care not to stretch your skin; pat dry. Apply oil profusely around the eyes, because this is the area most prone to wrinkles and crows feet.

Dry skin care demands the application of only very gentle and preferably natural skin products. Thus when you retire for the night, massage yourself with a homemade nourishing cream. Or you can use a natural beauty mask consisting egg, honey, olive oil and rose water to provide your skin with all the nourishments.

A warm milk bath with a few drops of almond oil added to it will soften and hydrate your skin like nothing else. Dry, cracked lips respond well to a little milk cream mixed with rose water and lime juice, while style divas swear by the raw-beetroot-application-before-the-lipstick routine. Just a dab of Vaseline afterwards ensures that your lips remain pink and pretty.

Dry skin care also involves knowing what to stay away from. Overheated rooms, beauty care treatments that use steam and sudden changes of temperatures wreck havoc on a dry skin problem. While stepping out in the cold, liberally douse yourself with some kind of moisturizer, and pile on the sunscreen when you go out in the sun.

Your diet too plays an important role in containing the reverses of a dry skin. While smoking and fatty, oily foods are a definite no-no, fresh fruits and vegetables, along with copious quantities of water daily, improve the quality of your skin and they have also been proven to contain anti-ageing properties. Thus with such foods in your diet, you not only remain healthy, but look healthy also good.

There are many herbs that can be directly applied to the skin or consumed to help your condition of dryness. Thus chamomile, lavender, calendula, comfrey, tea tree oil, aloe vera and peppermint used in herbal facials are good for dry skin and borage, fennel, coltsfoot or calendula tea can be used daily for a youthful looking skin.

Dry skin care actually means pampering your skin, for you have to always keep in mind that you are dealing with something very fragile.

Teeth Grinding Causes

Teeth Grinding Causes

The cause of bruxism varies according to the individual and there is no ‘one size fits all’ answer. The most common reasons are :
  • Anxiety or worry
  • Stress
  • Aggressive personality
  • Suppressed anger.
  • People who are ‘type A’ personalities.
Wikipedia defines a type A personality as  “individuals who can be described as impatient, excessively time-conscious, insecure about their status, highly competitive, hostile and aggressive, and incapable of relaxation. They are often high achieving workaholics who multi-task, drive themselves with deadlines, and are unhappy about the smallest of delays. Because of these characteristics, Type A individuals are often described as “stress junkies.”"
  • People who get easily frustrated about something are more inclined to become a bruxer.
  • While there is no personality test that can prove whether or not a person is a bruxer, aspects of one of the most frequently used personality tests in mental health (the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory) may show increased aggression, anxiety or frustration in an individual grinding teeth at night.
  • Teeth clenching is associated with snoring and daytime sleepiness, perhaps due to a lack of solid, healthy sleep.
  • It is also related to consuming too much caffeine
  • Excessive alcohol consumption or Tobacco use
  • Certain illicit drugs like MDMA (Ecstasy), amphetamines and cocaine.
  • Even antidepressants like SSRIs can cause bruxism in susceptible individuals.
  • In one study, it was reported that bruxism was associated with those workers who did shift work
  • Those who have difficulties initiating sleep.
  • Job dissatisfaction had a great deal to do with the onset of nocturnal teeth grinding.
  • Some research has linked digestive problems with sleep Bruxism
  • When it occurs during the day it is felt to be due in part to malocclusion of the teeth. This is a condition when all of the teeth don’t fit together properly and the malocclusion triggers a grinding response.
  • Hypersensitivity of the dopamine receptors within the brain as a cause.  This may be why Huntington’s chorea and Parkinson’s disease, also related to dopamine, have been linked to the onset of the condition.

High Cholesterol And It's Risks

High Cholesterol And It's Risks

High Cholesterol And It's Risks

Cholesterol is a waxy type, fat-like substance made in the liver and found incertain foods, such as food from animals, like dairy products (whole milk),eggs and meat. Cholesterol is carried by two types of proteins. Cholesterol is regularly produced by your liver and helps transport fat to areas of your body that require it for energy and repairs.

Heart

Too much cholesterol in the body can lead to serious problems like heart disease. When atherosclerosis affects the coronary arteries (the blood vessels that supply the muscles of the heart), the condition is called coronary artery disease, which puts a person at risk for having a heart attack.

You can't alter your genetics but there are things you can do now to lessen your risk for cardiac problems later. Although not all the things that promote heart disease and high cholesterol can be managed , many can.

Stay away from foods that are high in saturated fat, trans fat,and cholesterol, all of which raise bad cholesterol levels and your risk of developing heart disease. Reducing your cholesterol level lessens your chance for having a plaque explode and cause cardiac arrest.

For these people the fight against cholesterol is never-ending because they are are at risk for heart disease. In fact, lifestyle modifications may have a greater impact on lessening the risk of stroke and heart disease than does medication alone.

High cholesterol is only one of many risk factors for heart attack and stroke. Although high cholesterol is a strong risk factor for heart disease, it can be managed
